Report of Youth Festival Activities

1) 2018-2019 Youth festival:

With the vision of overall development of the students, the Government of Maharashtra conducts various activities such as “Avishkar” in the field of science, “Ashwamedh” in the field of sports and “Indradhanushya” in the field of culture. For this, inter-collegiate competitions are organized at the University level mainly -

1) Classical instrument performance
2) Elocution
3) Poster making
4) Collage
5) On the spot painting
6) Clay modeling
7) Cartooning
8) Rangoli

In the session 2018-19, The Youth Festival organized by Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Amravati was conducted at Shri Shivaji College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Akola from 26th September 2018 to 29th September 2018. A total of 02 students from our college, Matoshree Vimalabai Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya, Amravati from our college have participated in art forms such as classical instrument performance (Tabala) and Mehandi, out of a total of no students from our college.
